Harnessing AI to Advance National Security

Harnessing AI to Advance National Security
May 11, 9:00am to 3:00 pm (PT)

Excitement keeps building for the final event in our “Artificial Intelligence On the Front Lines” series happening May 11 in Redwood City, California. Due to popular demand and for those who cannot attend in person, we are offering remote attendance!

At a special rate of $50, you may view the proceedings remotely from wherever you are in the world. Now a global audience can be part of these important conversations regarding what our Nation must do to defend against the increasing threats posed by AI.

Tickets remain available for those who want to attend in person. If you have not yet registered, please do so now. You will want to be in the room as distinguished speakers from business, government and academia answer questions surrounding how we should collaborate with allies and partners to develop innovative strategies, policies, concepts, and technologies to defend democracy.

The questions are imperative. The solutions and strategies America develops today will help protect our national interests for years to come.

To discuss and formulate innovative strategies in the interests of national security, we have assembled a panel of world class experts, with topics to include:

  • The importance of winning the AI strategic race with China: Hosted by Eric Schmidt, Co-Founder of Schmidt Futures, SCSP Chairman, and former CEO & Chairman of Google.
  • The importance of military innovation for national security leadership development: Hosted by Professor Colin Francis Jackson, Ph.D., Chair, USNWC Strategic & Operational Research Department.
  • The economics of the AI/ML battleground: Hosted by Bilal Zuberi, Partner, Lux Capital.
  • Maintaining the lead in AI for the future: Hosted by Katharina McFarland, NSCAI Commission Member and former ASD Acquisition and President of DAU.
  • Panel discussion moderated by Tai Ming Cheung, Ph.D., Professor at the School of Global Policy and Strategy and Director of the Institute on Global Conflict and Cooperation at the University of California, San Diego.

These leaders will be in Redwood City on May 11 for this event. So will nearly 200 other leaders from the business, technology, academic and defense sectors.

The question is, will you be with us?

This is your last chance to register. Please sign up today.

You can do so online now, or please contact Shawna McGeown at (401) 848-8308 or shawna.mcgeown@nwcfoundation.org.
